If it wasn't a Toy / Sci dealership then presumably they would not have had access to the past service history in the computer.
So your next step is to get the name of the previous owner and do as I said above. If the dealership won't help you your state Motor Vehicles Department might be able to.
Telling the dealership that sold you the car you'll be forced to sue them if they don't give you the name might motivate them. (The logic would be they didn't tell you the warranty was not valid for the car and so defrauded you.)
