I actually lucked out when I was trying to retrieve the bolt - I put the stock box back on so I could get to work the next day.
When I drove it up my condo garage ramp, I heard a tell-tale "clink", stopped the car, and lo-and-behold, there was the bolt, a few meters behind my car.
To be safe though, I went to Home Depot and grabbed a couple spares - just in case.
