Someone on the forum suggested trying a TC-W3 rated 2-stroke oil, so I did. I found that as little as 1oz makes a difference (about the same difference as 4-5oz of Lucas treatment), and ~2oz kills them completely. It does not effect performance at all. I have not had any catalytic converter or O2 sensor issues either, and using such a small amount, I don't expect I will.[/QUOTE]

Just had a talk with our forklift maintenance guy who is also a car enthusiast about this situation. Has a 26 old mustang gt that he babies more than our cars. Was also a ford mechanic for many years and really knows his stuff. Was surprised that the crickets appear moving up to 94 from 91 and said that adding the minimal amounts of two stroke oil to a tank of gas is not going to have any ill affects.
On a frightening note, perhaps the mod bug never ends as he just bought a new manifold for his car for $1500 US just because. Which in turn led him to buy the supporting parts as well. Not a good omen going forward.
