I jammed my hands in there, only 2 finger widths from the inside of the stock tires to the pokey bits on the stock struts, x9 is doable only if you go with slightly smaller tires or introduce a few mm of poke as this test fit shows with a lower offset.
I wanted to do 17x9 +30 offset, but now Im thinking more conservative would be easier to fit-- something like 17x8.25 +35
