I can't say enough bad things about the R888. It just simply does nothing well. It has NO redeeming qualities. Toyo/Nitto have 2 other 100TW offerings that are superior. Choosing the R888 is like looking at 3 beautiful women and choosing the 1 that's a bitch, can't cook and has the herp.
edit: good choice on the Maxxis. Looks like the best bang for the buck in the 100TW category by far. I've heard good things and if they're on pace with a shaved RA1 then you're in good territory, especially since you save money on shaving too.
