All depends on how you drive and where you drive. Lots of highway miles? Much easier to hit EPA numbers for almost every car. Lots of city driving with short trips? Much harder.

And of course your driving style. Keep in mind some of these guys are babying their cars. Once you start winding the engine towards redline and higher RPM's you are not going to get EPA numbers most likely.

Consumer Reports has done extensive testing with city vs highway and the consensus is most cars can meet or beat the EPA numbers on the highway, but it is hard to achieve EPA in the city.
