I have not had any catalytic converter or O2 sensor issues either, and using such a small amount, I don't expect I will.

Once one of our master mechanics once mentioned to me that gas with ethanol and methanol content don have the same lubricating qualities as the gas with out... In summary as a result using a gas with ethanol content for an extended period of time may dry up the internal seals for the high pressure direct injection system and cause failures...
It seems like its a clever idea Roddy... I talked to him again he still recommends the Shell 91 and mentioned 2-stroke oil is made to mix with fuel and that the ski-doo manufacturers are also moving away from adding 2-stroke oil... Bottom line as @pushrod say you might have issues with the O2 and cats... But I hope not... So let us know if there is any issues... By the way did you know what BMW is having the similar issues if not the same with their direct injection systems? They also recommend shell 91.
