I replaced all of my pieces with the Black version except for the door openers - I thought the polished silver looked more, well, polished.
The other pieces look great in the car, but like tracerit says above, it has the texture of a chalkboard. It feels kinda cheap and they will easily scratch. My wife had a clipboard in front of her one time and it rested against the passenger dash cover and left a mark. The Silver version must have an enamel coating that gives it some scratch resistance.
I still prefer this color, so I'm keeping them, but I'll probably have to figure out a way to coat it with something to give it scratch resistance.
