That's pretty close to what El Cajon did though! Retail prices of stock 2013 BRZs with that low of mileage are probably $21-23k, right? Add the $15k in modifications and you'd be looking at $36-38k. Of course, that negates labor, which was probably substantial on items like the blower install, but since they're expecting a ~$11k premium over a stock BRZ, they're expecting to recoup about 75% the value of the mods. In my experience with heavily modified cars, that number usually is closer to 50%, which would put it at ~$30k, which I think is saleable.

Secondary problem would be book value. Banks typically will loan up to 120% of value. For this car, that would be about $27500. This means an even further limited pool of buyers as they'd have to have cash or trade equity to make up the difference.

It's an amazingly well-done car and doesn't look like you spared any expense in the build. But, as an enthusiast, if I'm paying that close to full retail for everything, I'd rather do it myself - both for the oversight and the fun/experience of doing it myself.
