I'm surprised a lot of people have never heard of it I can't take credit for it, it's an older term synonymous for the stupid straight through mufflers thrown on civics, corollas, neons etc:

It's kind of sad though that a lot of free flow exhaust systems that drone on the 4 cylinders can be called this without merit I think the definition should stretch to just the muffler adding 0 hp.
