Thank you

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to the people on this forum.
I still don't have a BRZ yet as I have decided to hold off a little longer to better educate myself on working on vehicles, but also to save more money for a bigger downpayment and such.

What I wanted to thank you all for was giving me the confidence to fix up my current car myself, with no prior experience working on cars.

Just a few days ago, I (successfully) replaced by brake pads and rotors on my car and fixed one of the problems I had been having. I know that this is a minor repair and is pretty easy, but it gave me the confidence and showed me how enjoyable it can be to work on a vehicle. I'm going to continue fixing up my current car to a better condition that will have more resale value, then get my BRZ later on this year if all goes well.

Thank you all.
