2GRs are not THAT great. They are too tall to fit in the engine bay, mostly because the complicated 3 stage VVTi head, they are not that light either.
Although dual-vvti, they donīt like to rev too high, and suffer from mysterious VVTi-gear knock, that nobody can fix ..just have to live with it.
Iīve got one in my Aurion (AUS Camry) and another in pieces lying around the garage
As for fitment, better look for the older (and simpler) 3MZ-FE..
