That's cool, and we more than welcome you into the community. It's not your fault of course that 75% of scion drivers (that aren't geriatric) created the stigma that the 25% of you who are serious have to live with.
Deal with it, because it's the same thing that Honda civic drivers got back in the day... and Honda drivers in enthusiast circles still live with that today. Only an NSX can save you face pretty much.
