The cold start timing retard can be modified to reduce sound on initial warm up. I know when I had my Tomei 60s on that the car was very loud during warm up. The solution for this is to go in to the cold start timing map and reduce timing from -15 to 0 in the full table. This will significantly reduce the sound.

As a work around when you first start the car put your foot on the accelerator and raise RPM's to around 2000-2200. This should force the ECU out of the cold start retard and reduce sound. I know this sounds wrong but it does work. Try it.
