OFT tuner
Issues I am seeing in the custom tunes I am working on for my vehicle:
Air flow is too turbulent. Snorkle is designed to smooth airflow so I am losing HP, TQ potential.
No header is causing restriction and too much back pressure in the exhaust. I want to open this up and run 2.5" minimum header to tails.
AEM comes with a sensor that adjusts the MAF map for stock cars (not tuned). This kept me from getting a CEL when stock. Now it's changing my MAF modifications in my OFT tunes. rawr.

If I could see 230hp / 220tq to the floor, I'd be really happy. This is going to take money, time, effort, and a smidge of luck.
As for turbos / FI... It's true. HP/TQ per dollar it's cheaper

I pretty much have done all that i can as far as bolt ons.
Ex:
Revwork header
Full invidia exhaust headerback
Im also catless all the way thru so i might have to much airflow but then again idk because of the T or Y pipe and mufflers on the invidia
Due to winter omn o longer on the ethanol juice.
Zeta inlet tube modded snorkel and k&n as far as intake goes. I did not heat the snorkel with a bottle inside it. I just cut it @ shivs recommend length.
