i just popped in a k&n filter and called it a day, it was 40$ i didn't feel much of a difference, until i got a catback exhaust then i felt like the car pulled just a little harder.

I have to agree, K&N would be the way to go. Easy to install (just swap), 5hp, manageable price, life warranty, easy to clean, etc. It's totally up to you broski.
