To clarify your previous post (which at least needed expansion):

1) short-press of the trac button turns traction control off, but only until you hit 30mph. This is to be used when starting on snow or ice. In that situation, the traction control may be too aggressive and prevent you from setting off.

2) long-press of the trac button turns the traction control and stability control off entirely, and they stay off until you press the button again or turn the car off. (Note that the car will still use electronic brake force distribution (EBD), which can cause problems if you're on a track and trail-braking. In that situation, the car would think you were performing a panic stop and would jump in to save you.)

3) pressing the VSC Sport button allows you to get a little bit more sideways before the electronics jump in and save you. There is no long-press function for this button.

4) the only way to disable EBD is by performing the pedal dance. ABS will remain enabled.

5) the only way to disable ABS is by pulling a fuse.
