Just went through process of wheels and tires for 2015 brz. Told would be a decision based on personal preferences, objectives and budget. Found numerous factors to be considered so will provide a short list to help you get started.

Stock wheels and tires are 17x7, 215/45/70 with +48 offset. Don't forget to consider bolt size and pattern (5x100) of wheel, tire pressure monitoring device ("TPMS") needs, wheel and tire weight, temperatures and conditions you will be driving in.

In a nutshell for me, I found that the optimal for warmer climate, that fit stock height and fenders (w/o modifications for coilover springs or camber), deliver high quality and reliability (at least thus far) at a reasonable price were: Enkei RPF1s, 17x9 (approx 16 lbs), 5x100, +35 offset wheels (+38 offset will rub) with Pontanza RE-11A 245/40/17.

Even with extensive research have made one rookie mistake to watch out for - Acquired new TPMS devices directly from Suburu and did not remember to have the installer pull the TPMS ID codes off the stock wheels before removed, and to record the TPMS codes for the new devices before the tires were mounted on the new wheels. Installer was unable to program and appear Suburu dealer will need to.

17x9 +35 fits like a glove on the BRZ, and the 245/40/17 have minimal impact on speed reading compared to stock, and provide wide stance with a little poke. Hope this helps you get started.
