Well I somewhat agree with what you're saying. Its better to have a positive atmosphere where everyone is free to creatively express themselves without fear of being harshly criticized for not conforming to society's standard. Its like an automotive hippie mentality that not everyone shares.

But on the flipside, don't be too sensitive and confuse constructive criticism with "hate". The word hate is so overused, that I think today's youth have no idea what real hatred is.

And lastly, why should it matter what anyone else says anyways? Because if you really feel upset over others' opinions regarding your car customization, it should make you stop and think: Am I doing this for me, or am I doing this for someone else's acceptance?
