Perhaps less glamorous but far more fun in my opinion, not that I would refuse a ride with the Blue Angels if the opportunity presented itself.
I've flown aerobatics, but frankly would just as soon fly straight and level. While its definitely a great skill to have, I just don't get the same enjoyment out of it as I do flying cross-country on a sunny Fall day.
Similar to driving. I've done some racing and enjoyed it, but I'd rather take a long drive through the mountains if given the choice.
