Any chance your detailer friends are thinking of the old, classic Turtle Wax? I can't speak to that product - haven't used it in 40 years.
Turtle Wax
Ice is a relatively new product line, unlike any previous product from them. Check the reviews on [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T-468R-ICE-Liquid/dp/B007KTINZI"]Amazon[/ame]. It's a different type of product than Collinite - it's not a traditional Carnauba wax - and it's pretty amazing, IMO.
