Oh and yeah seems kind of rare to see any major modifications on them here doesn't it. I remember on a UK forum I saw one guy that had just got a GT86 saying how he was going to "do it properly because everyone else is just treating their GT86 like a garage queen and not doing any serious modifications or drifting it etc" ... then all he did was lowered it and put some different wheels on :/

Sounds about right haha. I'm not doing a major build to be fair, been there before with previous cars. Just want the basics, suspension, exhaust and a map, all done with fancy bits from Japan.
