Humiliating: None that I can think of, because I don't drive like that. I'm not bothered at all when the minivan takes off at the red light and leaves me behind as I flawlessly execute a perfectly normal start.
Fun: I went through a drive-thru, and the cute teenage girl at the window liked my car, asked me what it was, then turned around to the other people working there and said, "Hey y'all come check out this car."
One of the guys came over, leaned out the window, looked the car over from front to back, then said:
"Shit's fuckin' dope, yo."
The girl gasped, slapped him on the arm and said, "You can't talk to the customers like that! You're gonna get me in trouble."
But I was laughing and assured her she would get no complaints from me.
Funny: I was on a two-lane road in rural Alabama that had a 55 mph speed limit. I was going 60. This road has some straights and some moderate curves, but nothing too severe and certainly nothing the BRZ can't handle at 60 mph. I've driven this road a few dozen times and know it pretty well.
An asshole in a Jeep Grand Cherokee came flying up behind me on one of the straights, braked hard right on my bumper and started tailgating me. I didn't speed up. I didn't slow down. I left it right on 60. I figured if he wanted around, he could go for it at the next clear straight, and I wouldn't do a thing to discourage him.
But then we came to the first of a series of pretty sharp curves. I didn't slow down, because I didn't have to. The Jeep also didn't slow down and continued to tailgate me into the turn. Then he was sliding sideways into the other lane. My tires never even complained. I could be on a leisurely Sunday drive, and that guy was shitting his pants.
Thankfully there was no oncoming traffic. He overcorrected slightly and took his right wheels onto the shoulder, but somehow he managed to recover without going into the ditch. It was actually a pretty decent bit of driving to keep that thing upright. After that he was a bit more conservative with his speed and kept a more respectable distance from my tailpipe.
