Improve throttle response

Picked up my GT86 today and enjoying it already, but one thing I'm not too keen on is the feel of the throttle. It seems to be a little slow to react, both when getting on the throttle and when coming off it.

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the actual acceleration or power itself - I just mean when I press the throttle pedal there seems to be little delay before it feels like the car is actually trying to do anything and likewise when I come off the throttle it feels like it carries on for a split second. Just makes it feel a bit sloppy and slow to react.

Is there anything at all I can do to improve this (don't mind spending money) ?

Cheers
Chris

EDIT: For anyone else with the same issue, I installed these bushing inserts on the rear cross member and that helped a lot: http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_...DT922&sq=14657
