you guys run same ecu calibration as here in australia and i have seen stock cars with IAM of 0.7 or less on 98 Ron fuel and knock correction of 3 or 4 degrees.

however the original poster apears to have other problems possibly related to early ecu calibrations such as 700 900 or A01 ecu calibrations or the cam actuator problem if his car is running that rough and stalling and idle dip and stability issues.
I really need to try this, with some good octane booster, on a hot day you can feel a serious drop in performance

so what you are saying is that with the knock you mentioned above, this will actually affect longivity of the engine?
