Guess there are pluses and minuses no mater how they do it.
I remember many years ago fighting to get throttle linkages on a Dodge 6 pack just right and thinking "There has got to be a better way".

There is a better way.. Its called two holley double pumpers on a tunnel ram

But I do know what you mean.. I had my 78 z28 camaro out at the track and was going around a corner and my throttle cable fell off.. One twisty tie later and I was back out there though!
