My Mazda 3 came with the Turanza EL400. OK performance in dry and wet, absolute garbage performance in any snow or ice. I'd go as far to say as it's dangerous and irresponsible of any OEM to include them on a commuter style car. I would replace them as soon as possible if you're going to do any winter driving.
I don't know how they compare to the Primacy in winter as I don't use the Primacys in winter.
