next year I might get a header, because I see you can gain significant HP from that.

I have a manual so, the effects on an automatic may be different. But by feeling, the OFT stage 1 gave me a very noticeable difference to stock. As steve said, It not only improves peak power, the stage 1 tune changes the whole feel of the car. I have been running it for a while now but I remember being shocked at how much smoother the car felt when rolling into the power. It cuts the torque dip down I think close to half. The newest OFT tunes are based on the newest factory tunes, so depending on how old your car is, and the tune it has, the OFT tune may actually protect your engine from damage attributed to older factory tunes, and all without needing to go to/pay the dealership.
On top of that, with just the OFT you have access to swap over to E85 if you have it available in your location, without the need for any further mods. I only tried E85 after I went stage 2 so I can't tell you how stage 1 + E85 feels but starting from the 93octane stage 2 tune: E85 really wakes up the bottom end torque, eliminates the torque dip(with header), and the top end stays smooth and flat instead of falling off.
This car seems notoriously picky about mods. If you think you may change anything out, like a header in a year or so, you "might" actually loose power without a tune, mostly from some intake mods, but exhaust may/will throw check engine light.
From my understanding, just to get 1 dyno tune will cost you more than the OFT, and you will be stuck with that tune. If you want to run E85 or do any more mods you may have to pay for another tune all over again. Just for full disclosures sake: You will get more power and more options from a custom dyno tune over an off the shelf/(one size fits all tune), but you will also have to shop around for tuners who are qualified and experienced with our platform.
Also If you try The OFT out and don't like it you can always unmate it from your car and turn around and sell it for almost as much as you paid for it. For features, you have the the data logging and real time gauge display, the ECU code reader. You will get good customer service from the guys @openflash, and helpful folks like steve99 on the forums. To top it all off, It seems like they are always working on new innovations, updates and upgrades to the software, so you never really know what other benefits you will have access to in the future.
