I want to flush my brakes this weekend but I was looking over the AP Racing sprint brake kit manual and I noticed that it recommends 1.5 L of brake fluid to flush the system. I know the AP brake calipers are bigger than stock, but is 1.5 L really necessary? From your guys' experience do you find yourselves having to crack open a third 500 ml bottle when flushing the brakes?
1L is fine. 20 pumps for each rear will be more than plenty with a mostly flushed reservoir.
