I think that is a fair criticism of this piece of advice but I absolutely think it's worth mentioning.
Many people mod to get more enjoyment out of the car, more performance, more
connection and many people don't realize how many affordable options they have to actually drive the car at 10/10ths of it's capability just like on Top Gear or X movie.
Besides, if there's the 1/1,000 chance that the guy tests out his open flash tablet and new exhaust at the track instead of blasting around the local backroad with all the risks associated it's worth the minor annoyance.
As posted above we have no idea what the OP wants so he gets suggestions for tires, suspension, engine swaps and sound systems.
