I ended up taking your advice. I put the K&N drop in filter in today, which I actually already had and was going to return, and picked up a plastic plug from Lowes. I read you need 7/8", but closest they had was 1". It seems to do the trick, it was a little snug but it fit.
Also ordered the plastics and OFT.
Ended up with
-Full set interior black plastics
-Arm rest
-K&N Drop in
-DIY soundtube delete
-OFT
Came out to about $735, so right about on budget and pretty decent bang for buck I think
