That is correct. The Torque Solutions lockout collar actually fits very well with the shift knob, the diameter of the collar and the bottom part of the shift knob are identical in size. The color goes fairly well with the PVD version of the knob as well. Here is a link to where I purchased the lockout collar in case you are interested:
