Kits developed in Japan and sold here are always significantly more than kits offered by companies in the U.S. There's a reason people nickname HKS and GReddy "HK$" and "Greedy". It shouldn't be hard to make one over here that's of the same or better quality for less money (without copying anyone's design, either).
