mine was a mid-2012 build, bought in Oct 2012 and I had the older (900C) tune. Newer cars have A01C, B01C, etc. which purportedly include the fix for the injector seals. 900C did not.
When I brought it in to Livermore Subaru last year and asked for the newer flash, they took it in, addressed some other warranty issues (including cricket/fuel pump), but when I got the car back they said no new flash is available for your car.
So my solution was to buy and use OFT to get the fix that the dealership wouldn't give me. Don't regret it at all since the OFT also brings other improvements you won't get from a factory reflash.
