Hey fellas, I have read your warnings and prepped for my Vortech kit. I have upgraded the radiator, clamped all the hoses, installed catch cans, installed the check valve, and am ready for install this weekend. A couple questions from my reading:
1) some have said they no longer use the AC to reduce stress on the belt. Is this overkill? I live in the PNW and the air is always wet, I am always using the defroster with the AC. Thoughts?
2) some have mentioned this belt also will struggle under regular downshifting. I am a daily driver, no track. Should I start learning how to de-celerate with no downshifting and just invest in extra brake pads? Thoughts?
