It should give me some extra safety against oil pooling in the heads in high G corners. I think that's why I was seeing a small oil leak.. from behind the coil/plug area on the driver's side running down the side of the cam carrier and slowly collecting at the bottom of the driver's side. Makes sense because nearly all the tracks I've run the car on are clockwise and have lots of hard right turns.
I got a good deal on the baffle for $106 on eBay. Now I just need to find the right sealant for the pan when it goes back on. |
