Sure I would just be ecstatic if I just bought a used car to find that it has had modifications that would mean my warranty was toast AND I did not receive any way to fix it, and no mention of this from the seller.
Kind of like buying a very high end gaming computer to find that it has Windows XP on it and no way to reinstall the OS.
