I'll try to explain it to you on the main straight which is easier. You say that you were using 3rd 4th 5th gear in both FDs. You were trying in the video to achieve top speed and you got only 181km/h in 5th gear. With 4.1FD you would be close to this speed in 4th gear which pulls better and then get more speed in 5th gear. This means that you would be quicker with the 4.1FD. So, I don't see this car to be faster.
As I said, your most gains are in 1st and 2nd gear. There are also some gains in a short range of the other gears. That is why most people saying that the car pulls better and it is more responsive.
I agree that the transmission choice is track related, but not by changing only the final drive ratio. Gear ratios are also important.
Anyway, in your case you have changed now the car engine, so you don't have to worry too much with such issues. Happy New Year!
