I agree Miatas look feminine. They are the twin sisters characters in Cars. I think its the soft lines and not having the slightest look of aggression.
Miatas remind me of the analogy between a fat girl and a moped. 
OK back on topic...I regret the titanium shift knob. Was an impatient purchase from Nextmod. Doesn't properly cover the lockout ring and as it turns out its a $20 Alibaba item I paid $80 for. Went back to the stock knob. Incidentally the guy working at Nextmod seemed to be a bit of an arrogant d%&k. Good thing, or I'd have bought a lot more from them.
