#2, yes. The adjuster threads onto the end of the shock body. Grab the silver base of the adjuster (head is gold colored) and turn counterclockwise.

Thanks alex, I tested the compression by hand while varying the adjuster, seems like everything is a-okay but I'll give Ohlins a call after the break to confirm.

Regarding the rear shock adjuster, do you have to hold the hold piece steady while you turn the silver seat CCW? Is there a torque spec for re-assembly? Funny that the instructions make no mention of this step... Thanks!
