Geez, if i could sue myself I would...Please do not make this mistake. I came across the FiveAD 5 pc body kit while looking at images on google... I liked the way it looked, and came across the Five:AD site
The website says " Are you in the US? The Five:AD 2013-14 Scion FR-S aero kit is available
exclusively (italics mine) at Scion Dealerships through Optimize"
Liar Liar pants on fire.
Webster's dictionary defines exclusively as: -
without any others being included or involved;
So, dumb ass that i am, I believed that this product was available only through Scion Dealerships, and purchased it through a local dealer. Turns out
www.phasteksport.com sells the exact same kit, for $200 less, plus free shipping and no sales tax. Since I bought the body kit in my own state, I got hosed for $137 tax and $178 shipping and I paid $2250 for the kit. Net real loss of $512. I don't mind spending money, I just hate wasting it. I called Five :AD and got a non response when I talked to the rep. He kept talking about MSRP. I kept saying this has nothing to to with MSRP or MAP, it has to do with the word
exclusively.
BTW lawsuits have been won or lost due to the placement of a comma in a sentence. If I can spare someone else making this mistake, that would be a good thing.
