Not really, but I'd go with the bad cut key theory.


You might try a little WD-40 or silicone spray on the key and run it in and out a few times.

Back in the day, we used to squirt a little 3-n-1 oil in the cylinder, then heat up the key with a Zippo lighter and run it in and out a few times.

But today, it’s hard to find a Zippo lighter …..
