I agree it can't be offered with 47 million different options, but manufacturers have, in the past, offered way more options than they do now. That's why 60's and 70's cars come in so many "unique" combinations. For example, I saw a episode of one of the "graveyard" shows where a specific 65 Mustang was technically one of a kind because it was the only "red convertible inline 6" that was built with an electric clock (the clock part is right, the quoted part is probably inaccurate but you get the idea).
That said, I do think at minimum and given they are all built on the same line any option available in one market should be available in another as long as it is "conforming" in that market (meaning legal).
There are almost no options available on other varieties I would have ordered on mine but that doesn't mean others shouldn't have the option.
Well, OK maybe I would have ordered the European armrest and the European stripe kit.....
