Actually if bought in another place the money "left over" would be exactly the same.
Can't compare prices from country to country as there are many economic factors in play.
Just because something cost $1 in the U.S. does not mean it cost a $1 everywhere else but because we pay more does not mean it cost more too us.
Shit, that doesn't even make sense to me now!
Sort of like if I make $2 an hour and pay $1 for something I spent 50% of my income but that would be exactly the same as if I make $4 and spent $2. To the guys with the $2 income the $4 seems expensive.
And this is why I am not an economics professor!
