Morons buying more car than they can handle is what that is. I have a 2013 challenger that I did a motor swap, suspension swap, and solid rear axle swap in and it is putting about the same power if not a little bit more on its current track tune. My street tune is running about 500HP as well and it is still a lot.
No way would I ever run the track tune on the streets plain and simple it just is not safe and I can handle the car just fine but refuse to run it that hard or dialed up that high on public streets.
It gets swirly, it gets knarly, and yes it does wheel stands but that doesn't mean one should do it on an open street.
I am not apposed to the new hell cats matter of fact I am thinking about trading the current challenger in for one however it is IMO that you should be required to take a drivers safety coarse to learn how to handle the car much like you used to have to do when you bought a new viper.
I am not apposed to the price tag either it makes it affordable for a lot of people who want a modern muscle "super car". However people should have some self control when they drive and not try and push the car past their personal ability and they should be governed IMO.
