Totally agree with above post, you need a cat and resonator in that front pipe or you could be fighting a losing battle even with a resonated cat back. It's gonna be loud (relatively) with a catless header and straight pipe. Read lots of posts with guys too loud after going catless header. jDL makes an ultra quiet front pipe that may help you out a lot.
