Heres a review of the lights and controller I bought from
DiodeDynamics.com
I actually purchased the Engine bay lighting kit, but after playing with them I thought they'd match my angel eyes pretty well in the grill. Install wasn't too difficult, just yank off the bumper, the 50cm RGB strips are lined with 3M tape, so all I did was clean the bottom of the bumper core and slap em on. Not too many places to hide wires so the control module and some wires are visible but oh well.
I also purchased a Bluetooth RGB controller from the same vendor, The lights always return to the last previously selected color when powered on, even without the app connecting. The app has some minor connectivity issues, sometimes having to reconnect 5 or 6 times before I can control them. Lots of functions, fade, flash, strobe, gradient changes. It has a music option, and while it does kind of flash with the music, it misses a lot of notes and doesn't appear very responsive. Controller works great, the app needs some work. My biggest gripe is that the color selection is all done on a wheel, which sounds awesome at first, but even with and HTC Desire 816 which has a pretty damn big screen I have some trouble selecting colors at times, it's always just a little bit off from where I want it. An option to type in RGB levels would be helpful.

Everything is nice and bright and well built, although I'm not too sure how well the controller will last in my engine bay lol.
DiodeDynamics.com shipped everything ridiculously quick, no issues with the order. Vendor is good, product is good, app needs some work.
As always sorry for the potato pics!
