Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

I fell in love with the vision of this car- Tada San did not envision the USDM 86 platform as what it is. It's evidenced by the TRD Griffon- although close to stock, a few major adjustments transform the car from good looking and great performing to beautiful and a work of art.
If this is your first RWD manual sport coupe, then I can see where you're coming from. It's pretty great set up from the factory.
But there's some specific things that, once adjusted, the majority will agree enhances the car. Most of these things are easily reversible. I'm alluding to the clutch pedal adjustment; headers plus tune (not so "reversible" when it comes to in-depth warranty work); HIDs (if not equipped); clear markers; subtle drop springs....
Most these things are very reversible but majorly transform the driving experience. I drive 100 miles a day in this thing. I require my car to speak to me, so I did a bit of work on the clutch and drivetrain, including diff+transmission+rear shifter stay mounts; quick shifter; clutch pedal adjustment; HIDs for safety and 'the look'; mudflaps to protect paint. All not stock, but aren't riced out and on "cheap Chinese websites" like you pointed out later on in the thread. Not all modders are ricers, not all ricers are modders.. you get the point
We gotta pay to play. Like NASIOC famously says,
"High performing, safe, cheap. Pick two."
