I am 100% right behind you with my FRS being stock and likely will be till it is paid off. Also like you, it will be the only car I will ever buy new and I am going to take my time modding this car. So far I've replaced the air filter with a K&N because the stock paper one was dirty, bought some Diode Dynamics LED stuff, and I have a 5AD spoiler needing to be painted and mounted. <$100 mods for now. The car will likely stay like this for the next 4 years as it is also my daily driver and it does well at that in stock trim. I don't need two projects as my mr2 is still has not reached its goal.

So for now, my FRS will be bone stock with wet dreams of a turbo setup and all the goodies.
Yeah, I've had projects in the past that I just threw parts at whenever I had extra money. Modifying is fun, but addicting. Considering I'm still financing the car it seems like the extra money would be better spent paying off the rest of the car.
