My car is pretty much stock minus an OFT tune, running TGMO 0w-20. The other night it was about 70 F out, and I did a few runs to redline 1st-3rd gear, datalogging with OFT. I saw oil temps as high as 235, and during autox before my tune I've seen as high as 244 oil temp on 85-95 F days at autox.
Just cruising on the freeway I see up to 219 regularly.

I understand an oil cooler isn't really necessary for street/autox, but are these temps consistent with what you guys are experiencing?
Randomly hitting the 220-235 range on 0w20 is no big deal its if you are not on a redline rampage and exceeding those temps. Its not the temps as much as the pressure loss long term you have to worry about.
